I have been a serious admirer of world-renowned interior designer, Nina Campbell, for many years now. I just adore her gorgeous fabrics and wallpapers and her incredible sense of color and pattern. So, I was delighted to find out that she had a new book coming out. Nina Campbell Interiors showcases Nina's exceptional talent for combining different cultures and design genres.
While the book is filled with beautiful photographs (taken by Simon Brown), it is more than just eye candy. Nina does an excellent job of taking the reader through her entire detailed design process...from the planning stage and discussing the client's specific needs to the selection of a special fabric or the design of a custom rug.
The book features a series of Nina's more recent interior projects. You'll find everything from a small London flat to a hotel dining room. One of my favorite projects was a glamorous 19th century townhouse in New York City.
I also loved a new home that Nina designed for a client in China. She was able to seamlessly meld two cultures - English and Chinese - to create one truly stunning home. Just look at the drawing room!
Nina Campbell Interiors would undoubtedly make a lovely addition to your design library.
Nina Campbell Interiors by Nina Campbell (Photography by Simon Brown) is published by CICO Books and is available from www.rylandpeters.com.
