I know, I know. I've been a very bad blogger over the last several months. Where in the world have I been? Well, all over the place, actually. We been to camp (Mini-mini-me), completed driver's ed (ahhhh! Mini-me), traveled to Asia and Europe, visited good friends at the beach and The Greenbrier (lots of pics to share), shopped and ate our way through New York City, and somehow managed to complete all "our" summer reading and homework assignments! But I am back after a truly wonderful summer with my family - refreshed and excited to share a bunch of new pretty things with you!
Today, I wanted to share these pretty vintage floral brooches with you. I first found them at a flea market a number of years ago. I had never seen anything like them before. They are made up of the sweetest, tiny glass flower beads that are wired onto a metal mesh-like backing.
Then the wires are twisted on the backside.
Unusual, right? I still don't know much about them...just that they are pretty and have wonderful colors. Someone once told me they were designed by Miriam Haskell, but I haven't been able to verify that. If you have any info. on them, please share! :-)
I hope that everyone had a fabulous summer! Back soon...promise!
XOXO
Jessica
These are so pretty and I've never seen anything like them - and I shop a lot of vintage!
