Pretty Summer Make-up

Now that summer has officially arrived, it's time for me to lighten up my make-up routine for the hot days ahead. I love cosmetics, but I am actually a big believer in the "less is more" theory - especially in the summertime when I want a quick beauty routine that leaves me with a more natural, slightly sun-kissed look. For my face (I am fair-complected), I like to just put on a light tinted moisturizer with sunscreen and/or a good primer. Too Faced's "Primed & Poreless" is wonderful to wear all on it's own and feels so good on your skin! Then a sweep of bronzer keeps me from looking too pale. I just discovered Too Faced's "Milk Chocolate Soleil" which is the perfect light to medium shade for me. Oh, and those "Keep Me Clean" cucumber and witch hazel facial wipes are great to stash in your bag.

I wear very little on my eyes in the summer, but a primer and mascara are a must! Again, Too Faced's "Shadow Insurance" just lightens up my lids a bit and their "Size Queen Mascara" is fabulous (not to mention the pretty packaging).

For my lips, I just love a pretty, pink gloss. Some of my favorites are Chanel's Levres Scintillantes Glossimer #03, Revlon's Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in #15 (Cherish), Loreal's Le Gloss in #154 (Watermelon Crush), and Mor's Lip Macarons in Sorbet and Lychee Flowers.

And finally, for my nails, I am loving Essie's nail color in French Affair - a soft lavender pink...
