Pretty Travel: Lette Macarons

As I mentioned earlier, we just returned from a really wonderful vacation out in California. CA is one of my absolute favorite destinations and we try to go at least once a year. We typically begin our stay in L.A. and then travel down to San Diego/Coronado, stopping in Newport Beach along the way. Newport Beach is home to one of the prettiest shopping malls, Fashion Island. It's a beautiful outdoor mall located right near the water - and somehow, even the Cheesecake Factory seems special when you have a view of azure blue waters and puffy white clouds! I always like to check out what's new at the mall and this time, I was super excited to find Lette, a very chic French Macaron shop.

The delicious macarons come in yummy flavors like Salted Caramel, Madagascar Vanilla, and Violet Cassis.

And they come in a palette of pretty, pretty colors...

Lette also has shops in Los Angeles, Pasadena and Beverly Hills...and you can even order online!

"Joining the 21st Century" Give-a-way

Guess what? It's time for a really fabulous give-a-way!

It seems that I'm just a little behind with the whole social media thing.  O.K., really, really behind - as in, I should have being doing this YEARS ago. I guess I am just an old-fashioned girl.  :-)  But, better late than never, right?  So, I need your help. I am asking that you all please begin following me on Facebook and Twitter. In return, you'll get a chance (lots of chances!) to win a big box filled with lots of pretty things.

And I mean LOTS of pretty things. The first prize winner will receive everything shown here and MORE! Beautiful millinery flowers, vintage velvet ribbon from France, antique glass rhinestones, pastel straws, flowery baking cups, chandelier earrings in candy colors, a pretty bead-draped aqua cake stand, a set of that incredible flatware from Target (service for 4), vintage wallpaper scraps, glittery pink butterflies, candy necklaces, yummy pastel sprinkles, etc..

In order to increase your chances of winning, I will also be selecting five second-prize winners who will receive a smaller (but still fabulous!) package filled with pretty ribbons, millinery flowers, rhinestones, etc.. (contents may vary from what is shown in this post).

The Rules:

3. Get your friends and family members to do the same! There is no limit to how many people you may have enter on your behalf. Just be sure that if they do win, they notify me of your name and email address and I will send along an additional prize package filled with some extra pretty things. It will then be up to the two of you to decide how to divy up the goodies. :-)

 4. What if you are already following me on FB and Twitter? Well, you can still enter to win! Just leave up to two comments on this blog post. (And get your friends and family to follow me on FB and Twitter for additional chances to win!)

5. All give-a-way entires must be completed by Midnight (EST) on Monday, August 13, 2012. One grand-prize winner and five second-place winners will be chosen at random.  Winners will be notified by me directly.
