I probably really need to apologize in advance for even telling you about this place. It's a very cool and very delicious retro-style bakery in Chelsea (NYC) called Lulu Cake Boutique.
They make lots of delicious cakes and desserts, but they are especially known for their...wait for it...home-made versions of Twinkies, Ho-Ho's, Sno-balls, and other iconic sweets. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that I literally almost died when I bit into their version of the "Ho-Ho".
Yes, it was really that good! And for you coconut lovers, their "Sno-ball" was equally incredible.
I would have taken a photograph of the "Red Velvet Twinkie", but it was consumed by my family before I could get to it!
So, if you live in NYC, I totally envy you. And if you don't? I suspect a road trip may be in your future.
:-)

Good grief! Way too much temptation, LOL!

Oh, those goodies sound so good they are making my mouth water! I would love to go Christmas shopping in New York, and see the Thanksgiving day parade! If I ever get to do that, I will definitely pop by this bakery! Thanks for sharing!

Such a gorgeous bakery. I just love beautiful coffee shops (and scrummy cakes). I would like a 'Lulu' in the UK!!
PS I love your pretty blog - I've only just stumbled across it
