I hope that everyone is having a wonderful holiday weekend. I just wanted to pop in and say "hi" and share a recipe for I what I think are possibly the best cookies ever. They are Chocolate Crinkle cookies and they are delicious!
Very chocolate-y...almost like a brownie, but better!
My Mom has been making them for as long as I can remember and they have always been a family favorite. The original recipe comes from the Betty Crocker Cooky Book (published in 1963), but you can find it here. If you decide to make some, I urge you to make several batches! I made them for our Fourth of July Celebration yesterday and they were gone in a flash!

I love Chocolate Crinkles! My Great Grandmother used to make them and they are now a fixture at family parties. Thanks for sharing where the original recipe came from.

I think the title is 100% flawless. Those chocolate crinkles are absolutely enjoyable.

I copied the recipe for using when it cools down. Right now it's way too hot to heat up my old oven. They look great and I can't wait to try them out!

My best friend makes these and I have been known to fill my pockets with them! I've made a variation where you add some instant coffee for mocha crinkles. :) Yum.
