There are many great antique shops and flea markets around the country where I love to go to find all my vintage treasures. Lucketts Store is a favorite of mine. It's located in Leesburg, VA (which is conveniently located about an hour away from me) and it's brimming with lots of great vintage finds.
There is much to see at Lucketts. Aside from the main building (which used to be an old post office and general store), there are also a bunch of outdoor structures where additional dealers display their vintage wares.
You will find everything from vintage chandeliers...
...to architectural salvage. Like these old, weathered columns,
window frames,
and old ceiling tins.
There are also lots of pretty shabby finds...like this vintage floral china. Too hard to resist!
You will also find a ton of very good reproduction urns and planters at very reasonable prices.
The wrap-around porch has lots of bargain furniture and vintage mirrors.
Inside the main store, you will find multiple dealer spaces - each decorated in their own unique style. There is something for everyone.
There are lots of great gift items, like these lovely vintage-inspired stationary goods.
And pretty French soaps.
If you love vintage textiles (and I do!), you'll find pretty fabrics, vintage prom dresses, and gorgeous hats covered in millinery flowers.
On your way out, get your sugar-fix by grabbing some old-fashioned candy. Maybe a candy necklace or some candy "buttons". :-)
And don't forget to stop by the Design House - an old Victorian house that also sits on Luckett's property. It's filled with great furniture and accessories - and everything inside is available for sale!
I apologize for bombarding you with all these pictures, but there is just so much to see! Lucketts is truly a worthy shopping "destination" and I encourage you all to make a trip!
Oooh, I'll have to check that out next time I'm in the area. Thanks for sharing the pictures!
