This week's "Pretty & Thrifty Thursday" find comes from Pottery Barn. This pretty little vase is actually intended to be a candle-holder...
...but I am using it for my gorgeous pink roses (courtesy of the Husband on Valentine's Day).
It's a pretty & thrifty find at only $6.50 and the most gorgeous aqua-blue color for Spring! I don't see it available on-line yet, but I found mine in the store just this past week.

So beautiful! Who doesn't immediately feel serenity at the sight of blue and pink together? I actually have five blue hobnail antique vases(various sizes)situated throughout my home right this moment with...yes...pink roses in each. Love your site!

I loved this so much, I went to Pottery Barn today to buy one today. First I stopped by Anthropologie next door to see what was new. I was surprised to see the same hobnail candle holder in a dark gray (but for $8). They also had a vertical striped dark gray candle holder. I opted for the striped one - it will look so dramatic with dark red roses. Then I headed over to Pottery Barn to pick up the blue one and while I was paying, I spotted 2 smaller candle holders in gleaming silver, one hobnail and one vertical striped. Only $3.50 each! It'll go perfectly with the larger holders. Thank you for the great idea!
