These beautiful porcelain roses were a recent and very happy find.
I am completely crazy for chandeliers - especially ones dripping with roses. I have several Italian Tole ones, but I've been on the hunt for one with porcelain roses for the longest time. I frequently see them on ebay, but they are often in very poor shape or outrageously expensive. I actually found one last summer in the Paris Flea Markets, but the shipping alone was going to be triple the cost of the chandelier! So, no porcelain rose chandelier for me at the moment. :-( But, I found these beauties at the Georgetown Flea Market in D.C. a few weeks ago!
These old porcelain roses originally adorned an antique chandelier. They each still have a wire hanger and crystal attached to them. I can only imagine how beautiful that chandelier must have been. The roses are in excellent condition, with just the perfect amount of shabbiness.
And the colors are soooo pretty.
I am still holding out hope of finding my perfect chandelier someday, but in the meantime, at least I have these...

Oh my goodness!! I L-O-V-E LOVE those! They are gorgeous! What are you going to do with them?
