I wish I could say I was responsible for these lovely shabby seashells, but alas, I am not. They are the work of one of my nearest and dearest friends, Jodi. Jodi is one of the few people that I know who totally "gets" and shares my love of all things shabby, floral, and pretty. Jodi also shares my love of party planning and gets just as excited as I do about all the little details. She painted these gorgeous seashells for her daughter's "mermaid" birthday party.
Aren't they beautiful!
I just adore the soft, shabby colors and the way Jodi has delicately glittered them. The aqua ones are my favorites.
If I'm really lucky, maybe Jodi will make some for me to sell in my online store...

TOTALLY love them ... would love to see what else Jodi does for her mermaid party!

How cute. At first I thought they were little soaps. Very creative!

I gave one of my daughters a mermaid party a few years ago, I wish I had thought of these painted shells. They are simple but very effective.

I just found your blog today and am SO happy I did! Not only is it beautiful but your project ideas are amazing! I really enjoyed scrolling through your past posts and am looking forward to more. I love vintage wallpaper too but haven't been able to find any recently. Your cake/cupcake and candy ideas look like so much fun too!
Love what you do here!
